One of the conversants talked about an organized effort by several former high ranking WH officials from previous Administrations coordinating a campaign to persuade President Trump to make some kind of offer or deal to North Korea to get Kim to stop making threats against the US and its allies. The other conversant argued that these former officials only want to get Trump to continue the bad deal- making they made under previous presidents which succeeded only in allowing the North Korean nuclear program to speed up. The first conversant said that the former officials who failed to stop North Korea only want to perpetuate the US pattern of past failure. The other conversant said the former presidents and others just want people to believe they acted in America's best interest, when in fact they sold out the United States and don't want to admit it.

The other person said that the 'old gangs in previous Administrations' don't want Trump to succeed where they failed because history would judge them incompetent at best, and at worst, traitorous for not using military force against North Korea, or economic pressure against China to get North Korea to stop building a nuclear weapon and the means to launch it. They want to put as much pressure as they can on Trump by accusing him of potentially provoking a nuclear incident that could ignite a war. They plan to accelerate public accusations against Trump before he arrives in South Korea and meets with other Pacific leaders. Both conversants acknowledge that if Trump remains as strong as he has been and continues to put pressure on China, Trump will become one of our greatest presidents who, like JFK and Reagan, stood up against Communism even at the risk of war.. Carter, both Bush's, Clinton and Obama "wimped out" and "caved to" China and North Korea.. Communists the "whip hand". Mike reported that at this moment a third person entered the conversation saying the pressure on Trump to be just like Carter, Bush, Clinton and Obama, to sell- out the country (the US) is taking a small toll but that Trump is only pretending to be listening to "compromising voices".

He said Trump will carry a "big stick" when he meets in the Pacific, and will shut down all trade with China if China does not once and for all do something about North Korea even if it means China will bomb North Korea itself. The third voice said nuclear war will be bad but another president selling- out America would be worse today because the North now has a bomb, whereas the Kim family didn't under previous presidents The third voice said the upcoming Pacific meeting will be comparable to Allied reps meeting with Hitler in Berlin. The voice said that if the Allies had stopped Hitler in Berlin there would not have been a World War II. But because the West caved in Berlin, Hitler continued to go more and more crazy. The voice said Trump has only one alternative and that alternative is to tell the Chinese that he (Trump) means business and enough is enough, The voice concluded by saying the Chinese economy will sent back to the Stone Age if the US cuts off all trade with China should Trump have to return home from the Pacific with no progress on a path.. North Korea one red penny in economic aid intended to feed North Koreans but will instead be used for the North Korea army and more bomb building." Mike reports there was not a word spoken about Chinese illegal drugs coming to the US on a daily basis in trade containers that bribed longshoremen and US Customs officers allow through US ports of entry.
